I used to make jewellery as a kid all the time. You probably did too. Do you remember securing a safety pin to your jeans so you could make your buddy a knotted friendship bracelet? Or maybe your backpack or a rip in your jeans was adorned with beaded safety pins. I don't even know how many plastic beaded bracelets on elastic cord I made.

I've done a bit of a jewellery glow up with my designs, but I definitely feel connected to the little girl I was with beads spilled all over my carpet when I make any of these items.
