SLOW MADE CERAMICS

There's something special about owning a piece of hand-built pottery. I love thinking about the artist at work in their studio, playing in the mud, carefully crafting their creation. One of the first art classes I ever did was a clay class when I was maybe four or five years old. I remember the dinosaur I made displayed in my home as a kid. Today, I play with mud through a community Potter's Guild, where we share resources and build community. It's always inspiring to see what other people are making, to learn from each other, and have the ability to access resources we could never access doing it solo. Funnily enough, the class I took as a child was held in one of the rooms in the same building that I use today to create my ceramics as an adult. Nostalgia abounds.

Each one of these items has been slowly made, designed, and painted by me and is completely one-of-a-kind.
